Terms of Use

    Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site or our services.

    Scope of Services

We provide energy efficiency services including Retrofit Assessments, EPC Assessments, Insulation Advice, Thermal Imaging Surveys, and Heat Pump Suitability Assessments. Service availability is subject to scheduling and geography (Yorkshire-based with UK-wide coverage).

    Quotes, Pricing, and Payment

Prices quoted (e.g., EPC from £70, Thermal Surveys from £150, Heat Pump Suitability from £250, Retrofit Assessments from £350) are indicative and may vary based on property specifics, travel, urgency, and scope. Formal quotes are provided in writing and are valid for a limited period stated on the quote. Payment terms will be specified on the invoice and are typically due on delivery of the report unless otherwise agreed.

    Scheduling, Access, and Preparation

Appointments are agreed in advance. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property, providing accurate information, and securing permissions where required (e.g., from landlords or building managers). Missed appointments or inadequate access may incur a call-out fee.

    Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee to cover time and travel costs.

    Reports, Advice, and Use

Reports and recommendations are based on the information available and conditions observed at the time. They are provided for the client’s own use and decision-making and should not be relied upon as a substitute for specialist design, installation, or structural advice where applicable.

    Third-Party Partners

Where appropriate, we may introduce or liaise with trusted partners (e.g., heat pump specialists such as IMS Heat Pumps, or property service partners). We act independently and do not guarantee the performance of third parties. Any separate contracts you enter into with third parties are between you and them.

    Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, disclose known issues relevant to the assessment, and follow reasonable recommendations regarding safety and property access. You are responsible for choosing whether and how to implement any recommendations.

    Warranties and Disclaimers

We provide services with reasonable skill and care in accordance with applicable UK standards. Except as expressly stated, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding specific outcomes, savings, or performance of recommended measures.

    Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with services provided shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

    Intellectual Property

All content on this site and in our deliverables (including text, graphics, logos, images, and reports) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, save for fair use in internal decision-making.

    Data Protection

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Please review the policy for details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
